Dylan walked out of the crisp February evening air and into his house where he found his two year old fiddling with some arts and crafts. “Where’s mommy, Cece?” he asked her. “Momma’s gettin’ ready ta go out!” the little blonde replied loudly, never taking her eyes of the project before her. He wondered, was that phase where the children couldn’t wait to see you every day already over? He ruffled her hair, which was met with whines to cease, then placed his coat and satchel on the coatrack. Then he began to climb the stairs.
